Gold Creek Trail at Green Mountain February 21

Last week my son, and youngest daughter hiked the Gold Creek Trail near Bremerton to the top of Green Mountain. We started at the trail head around 10am and there was still frost on the ground. We arrived at the summit around 11:30.

Should have brought food to have a lunch at one of the picnic tables. We returned via the Plummer Trail and noticed many rhododendrons. Will have to return later when they are in bloom. Arrived back at the trail head around 1pm. It was fun being outdoors with some of my children.
